The Solaris clock makes telling the time a creative activity. Children can build their own clock using components from Solaris. This is a unique and versatile clock. There are several interchangeable dials - Arabic numerals, Roman numerals divided into minutes and a sundial. These dials are found in everyday life. Introducing the concept of time as a function of the sun and the rotation of the earth opens children up to an entirely new perception of the concepts of time and their relationships.
