Phonogram reading series (green) (in English) - Nienhuis AMI

This is the series more commonly referred to by many as the “ Green” series; also known as the Phonogram series. With over 80 objects to support activities, the materials in this series have been developed not only using the traditional approach to phonemic awareness, but also include activities that are based on current brain research.

The phonograms introduced in this series are:
- a : a_e, ai, ay
- i : i_e, ie
- o: o_e, oa, ow
- u : u_e, ue
- e: ea, ee sh, ch, th, wh ar, ir, or, ur oo (wood) and oo (spoon)

This series contains 8 main sections, each section including the following hardware sets:

- Beginning of phonogram decoding:
- Objects (84 objects included)
- Word building images (84 images for phonogram word building)

- Identification of phonograms and association with their symbols:
- Sorting tapes (4 tapes each containing 3 phonograms and 3 images for each phonogram)

- Beginning of the coding of phonograms:
- Object/tag association (tags to associate with included objects)
- Image/word association (84 images and corresponding labels)
- Association images puzzle (80 images forming vertical puzzles)
- Middle vowel sorting activity (36 frames containing a picture and the beginning and ending sounds)

- Coding of phonograms:
- Word lists (2 types of word lists for a total of 54 word lists)
- Short vowels to long vowels (21 frames each containing two words)

- Read sentences and expressions with phonograms for their meaning:
- Object Phrases (6 sets of Phrase Cards that go with the corresponding objects)

- Read secret words with phonograms (verbs and adjectives) for their meaning:
- Secret words (verbs contain 64 words and adjectives contain 24 words)

- Read sentences with phonograms for their meaning:
- Matching Phrases and Picture Sentences (4 sets of 6 sentences with 6 pictures in each set; includes matching basic sight words) - Commands (Set of 8 command cards)

- Read phrases and sentences with phonograms for meaning:
- Books (6 books with more than three letters, short vowel words, as well as sight words)
