The sound box

Associate the sound of the letters with its spelling to prepare for reading and writing.

This activity will allow the child to exercise his sound awareness, to then prepare him to code with the sounds he knows.

To start, the child can choose 3 boxes of his choice. The child will take out the small wooden pictures and mix them up.
Then he will have to associate each image with the sound of the beginning of the word. It can self-correct with the letter on the back.

Each sound locker contains 3 wooden images except the letter h which contains nothing because it is the letter that does not make noise!
