Silent dictations - 3 to 6 years old

Language activity: Silent dictations.

The file includes:
- 7 pink series of 6 images representing phonetic short words
- 7 blue series of 6 images representing phonetic long words
- 9 green series of 6 images representing words containing the 9 digraphs (oi, on, ou, an, ai, in, ch, gn, é)
- The instructions

The activity :
The purpose of this activity is to enable the child to compose words from sounds, to then facilitate the triggering of the reading mechanism. This preparation for writing and reading is a fundamental step between discovering the sounds with the rough letters and starting to read with the first reading tray and the pink series.

• Suitable from 3 years old once the child has mastered the sound of letters (rough letters).
